Users enroll using a simple 5 step process 

1. User is asked to create a password

2. User is then asked to upload a picture for encryption 

3. Picture is uploaded to the RealMe engine

4. Picture is encrypted with digital signatures and a public/private key pair

5. Encrypted picture is returned to user and stored in the Flash Web Widget

Picture is separated – Web application and user each retain half

Users login using a simple 2 step process 

1. User enters their password 

2. Password unlocks encryption hidden in picture (password is never transmitted on the Internet). 

User is “authenticated” if both halves of digital signature halves match
